Juanita’s Draperies is a family owned business with over of twenty-five years of experience; specializing in custom draperies and upholstery. Juanita Dominguez, Co-owner and the creative force behind the business, has always maintained a passion for needlework and other creative activities ever since her childhood. Manuel Dominguez, her husband and business manager held various administrative positions for the Government of Mexico. Shortly after their marriage, the pair moved to Dallas with the vision of creating a custom drapery and upholstery business. Juanita’s Draperies has served the Metroplex since 1985 with our custom creations adorning some of Dallas’ most famous homes. In addition to being recognized as the best upholstery workroom in 2009 by D Magazine, Juanita’s Draperies has also worked with homeowners across the Nation.
While Manuel is now retired, their son Daniel has been brought on as the second generation to co-own the business handling the day to day operations as well as installing alongside Juanita some of the best draperies in the metroplex.
With our team of select and highly trained seamstresses, we can assure you that each project we work on will be perfectly crafted and unique. We are proud to provide estimates of our labor and yardage, and can pick up and drop off projects from any location in the Metroplex.
